‘The Beauty of Now’ by Freelon Asante

This is one of your last weeks to catch an eclectic new show at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum. A former instructor at Morgan and Towson, Asante uses tissue paper and photographs in ingenious ways. The Beauty of Now by Freelon Asante runs through Aug. 16 at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, 830 E. Pratt St. Free. Call 443-263-1800 or go to africanamericanculture.org.

Join Maya to create prints using colored tissue paper.

Master Artist Workshop:Creative Collage
Led by Maya, participants will create collage imagery evoking memory and storytelling. For more information and to register for this workshop please call 443-263-1875. Cost $5

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wednesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.
Thursday (June to August), open until 8 p.m.
Sunday Noon to 5 p.m.

The Museum is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, and Easter Sunday.
