Lecture will be held at the Phillips Collection, Washington DC,
Wednesday, September 15
Followed by the second day of the symposium at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union
at the University of Maryland, College Park, on Thursday, September 16
Featuring 3 panels of distinguished guests covering the following topics:
- “Race and Museum Practices”
- “Race and Abstraction”
- “Performance in/of Contemporary African American Art”
