This is perfect.
I re-read "1984" soon after American troops invaded Iraq and it gave me more chills than when I read in back in high school when Reagan was early in his first term.
It's horrible, yet not completely unsurprising stories like this which confirm for me that we are NOT living in a true democracy in any way, shape or form.
I hope that this situation gets straightened out soon, Carla. Let us know if there's any action we can take on your sister's behalf.
