call me old-fashioned, but...

Yeah, you know, my sister and I are headed to NY Saturday with our niece and nephew so I thought I would buy a local magazine to have easy access to addresses etc., but I won't buy this on principle.

But Mos Def mos definitely disappointed in "Beyond Beats and Rhymes: A Hip-Hop Head Weighs in on Manhood in Rap Music" (http://www.bhurt.com/) when he wouldn't speak against homophobia in hip hop.

Oh, that makes me sad. I will watch the whole thing. I'd been rooting for Dante for a while. Not cool.

Have a great trip!!!

I liked this line:
"You can have the funkiest beat in the world and have crypto-fascist lyrics."
