we are some bloodthirsty motherfuckers

Why are photographs of a dead Abu Musab al-Zarqawi everywhere? Americans love the trophys of our kills, don't we?

What I meant to write is, yeah, this whole "we've killed a human being and we're going to broadcast his bloodied body so that Americans can get pumped up about themselves" has me creeped the fuck out.

to me, it's as Medieval/barbaric a spectable as taking heads and putting them on a stake, or a bounty hunter returning with a head to claim his prize. in this case, are we no different than those jihadist lopping off peoples' heads, but I suppose we do it in a righteous way....but they claim the same thing for their cause. Or what about the paranoia of white settlers getting scalped by savage "injuns," but I supposed is a white man scalped an "injun" he could just claim he was a trader; with his collection of human pelts.

the Bush Admin's claiming victory/mission accomplished over Zarqawi's fall; but I say that's BULLSHIT!!! his own people got sick of his vanity, becoming a film celebrity is frowned upon in Muslim culture, it's not like here where Bush can get all the photo opps like a celebrity, when he actually does nothing when he's not on camera :) Zarqawi's own people got sick of him, it's not about our successful mission, they talk about how this hit was months in the making, THEY GAVE US THE INTELLIGENCE!!! once again, Bush taking credit for something that wasn't his own making. people have mixed feelin's about Zarqawi's fall, I personally think it doesn't matter, even if I believed in this war, we're fighting a many-headed hydra, it's already regenerating another terror cell elsewhere, like Viet-Nam, this war is about winning HEARTS & MINDS!!! everytime the news talks only about U.S. soldiers, and fails to mention the Iraqi people, it makes me sick. Afterall, who are we there for, who are we fighting for. To act like these people/country don't have self-autonomy makes me sick, that's when I see it as an Imperialist endeavour, it's purely self-interest. the media NEVER MENTIONS the IRAQI PEOPLE, Their take on us being their, whether they supported us at one time, or whether they want us to GET THE FUCK OUT!! that's all for now
