Last week I spoke at LA MOCA for the "WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution" show. Besides discussing my piece in the show, Mlle Bourgeoise Noire, I read a brief piece written in response to Marsha Meskimmon's article in the WACK! catalogue. Meskimmon's is the lead article and the best thing in the book, I feel, as it provides a "different" way of looking at the work.

The Museum asked me to let them post the statement called "Notes for MOCA gallery talk" on their website. I did and it's up now. It's barely the start of a discussion, but it addresses newer theoretical approaches to feminist art from the point of view of work like mine and Senga Nengudi's. The URL is:
